Projects Management

A coordinated approach to all activities is required for a project is to be successful. A primary function of the project management team is therefore to monitor and to pro-actively manage the work to ensure that cost, time and quality parameters are maintained throughout the process. In order to achieve this objective, the project management team establishes, maintains and integrates a Management Information and Control System (MICS). This facilitates decision making, particularly where a commercial assessment is required for the trade-off between time and money.

The essence of the MICS is to provide a framework to look forward within the project to anticipate requirements and to ensure actions are taken in good time to meet project objectives
